Lots of ups and down this semester. I can't believe November is already here. I don't really remember the last few months. Just did stuff and time passed. That was it. I'm moving on though.
It's been really great tonight, as well as last night. I want to draw so bad. Got my wacom tablet hooked up to my new computer and driver installed. I'm going to wait to install Photoshop on my computer until I get Vista upgraded to Windows 7.
As Historian of Tau Beta Sigma, I create posters for "Marcher of the Week," a couple others posters like that one, as well as rush posters. So, my fun art for those events has been seen by about 200 people on a daily basis. Now, my fellow sisters and brothers knew I could do art, but now I'm getting commissions from them! This is so great. I've been setting myself up in a safe environment and its paying off. I'm getting my art out further into a safe environment (my brothers and sisters) as I work my way up, and ease out of the grief from my dad's death.
Having so much support in these areas of my life from my brothers and sisters is so valuable, probably more than I know right now.
This has given me a part of life where I would never really imagine what comes with "What if I didn't join." I'm too grateful for what I've learned and gained from my sisters, brothers, and Tau Beta Sigma in general to consider the "what if."
